Step 1 — Buy Your WASSCE Results Checker In Advance

Before you can check your results on the WAEC website, you need a WASSCE Results Checker Voucher — a Serial Code and PIN that unlocks your official results. Do not wait for the results to come before you chase to buy one. You can buy one directly on Uni-Suggest right now, and keep it safely while you await your results.

Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive an SMS that looks like this:

Keep this SMS safe. You will need the Serial Code and PIN for both the WAEC website, when results are released, and for Uni-Suggest.

Step 2 — Check Your Results on the WAEC Website When Results Drop

Once you have your Serial Code and PIN, keep it safely until we announce that the results are out on our WhatsApp Channel.

When your results finally load, take a screenshot immediately. Take a screenshot of your results. You will need this when entering your grades on Uni-Suggest and for your university application later.

Step 3 — Find Every University & Programme You Qualify For

1. Choose your desired path on the homepage — click on "Public Universities", "Nursing Training", "Training Colleges", "TVET/CTVET", or whichever path interests you.
2. Enter your Serial Code and PIN — you will see a box asking for your Serial Code and PIN.

3. Check the box that says "Current SHS Student / Awaiting Results" if you do not have your results yet. Or "SHS Graduate (WASSCE RESULTS AVAILABLE)" if you have checked your results.
4. Select your SHS elective subjects — choose the subjects you studied at SHS, e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Accounting, Economics, etc.
5. Enter your grades exactly as they appear on your results — use the grades from your screenshot (A1, B2, B3, C4, C5, C6, D7, E8, F9).
6. Click Submit — Uni-Suggest will instantly show you every university programme and career path you are eligible for, based on your actual grades and subjects. Cut-off points, academic fees, residential fees, and career opportunities — all in one place.
